Plaintiff was lifting a sliding glass door “on-the-job,” when he felt that something popped in his back in April 2013.
He had a spinal fusion at L3, L4, and L5. He was on light duty after the worker’s comp incident and needed another surgery. Through the efforts of our worker’s comp “of-counsel,” they were able to secure an additional back surgery for the Plaintiff. The Worker’s Comp carrier also owed fees for obtaining the back surgery itself.
$145,000.00 total settlement achieved in October 2017.
